Let’s play “Find the kitty”

OK, so I am a day late with this spooky Halloween post. Or I am SUPER EARLY for next Halloween.

Let’s go with that one.

This is Abby. Do you see Abby? She kind of blends in with the Halloween blanket and pillow on her pet mom Sandy’s couch.

Apparently getting her to pause long enough among her dopplegangers to get a photo was a feat all in itself. After all, she does have Chloe the Kitten to chase around.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween last night. Phil stayed in the family room with our three dogs and Thai spent the evening in another room behind a closed door so I didn’t have to worry about any critters darting out or being scared of the little candy beggars on our porch.

Stormy barked like a hell hound every time the door bell rang, which was pretty much the best Halloween sound effect EVER!

How did your pets handle the trick-or-treat parade?

I could have sworn there were 2 cats there. The one on the pumpkin looks real.

We sadly lacked trick-or-treaters for the 4th straight year…living in a rural community can be great, but it makes for quite Halloweens. When we lived in more built-up areas though, we would keep our black cat, Magic, inside for a couple weeks leading up to Halloween. Aside from that, the cats didn’t seem to mind too much.

Love the throw. It’s hard to tell the real kitty! We had 2 bassetts in their kennels in their room & they sounded like a double dose of hell hounds when the bell rang! We had 62 goblins & that’s truly a lot of sound effects.
    Keep the stories coming.
