Petting guide to cats and dogs

I usually refrain from sharing internet memes here because it’s nearly impossible to attribute them to the original creator. However, since this is, by far, the most accurate internet meme I have ever seen, it simply must be shared.

Hahahahaha! I saw this on Pinterest and thought the same thing, Nona.

This is so funny because it is so true. At least for the cats one. Thanks for the laugh today.

One of my cats would not agree. The back of her neck is the only place you can touch her. If you go for the base of the tail she will do her version of shredding you which is complaining loudly and flattening her ears and pretending to bite you. If she wasn’t such a docile cat I’m sure she would actually bite and scratch. (We have talked to the vet about this – she’s ok, just very sensitive)

Now my DOG would definitely agree!

My cat LOVES to have her haunches scratched – by me. Not my husband.
