I have made that statement many times, because other than annual checkups, the little tank has been the heartiest and healthiest dog for his entire five years of life.
And now? He has some kind of nasty little infection thing going on that results in what we call “eye boogers” crusting all down his snout from his right eye.
I felt like I was raising a toddler again with as many times as I wiped his face yesterday.
I am hoping it will just go away without having to make a visit to the vet. Anyone else have experience with optical snot that’s not caused chronically by allergies?
(This photo was taken when he had clear eyes — and a full heart and couldn’t lose — 10 points if you get that pop culture reference. Imagine a river of goo flowing down that sweet face right now.)
