The Virginia Small Business Partnership is proud to host the 2011 Virginia Small Business Summit, which will bring together entrepreneurs and small business leaders from across the Commonwealth, who will focus on developing commonsense, business-friendly ideas for Virginia lawmakers.
The Partnership is excited to announce that Secretary of Commerce & Trade for the Commonwealth of Virginia, Jim Cheng will be serving as a speaker at the 2011 Virginia Small Business Summit. Jim Cheng is a successful businessman and former CEO of a government contracting firm based in Virginia. Jim has been actively involved in the community and has served on the boards of non-profits, state-level and community organizations. He was a former board member of the Virginia Small Business Finance Authority.
“We are excited to have Secretary Cheng attending the 2011 Virginia Small Business Summit,” said David Skiles, President of the Virginia Small Business Partnership. “Jim is a strong supporter of the Virginia small business community and his work with Governor McDonnell means he understands the important issues that affect businesses ability to succeed.”
The 2011 Virginia Small Business Summit is going to be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the George Mason Inn & Conference Center in Fairfax, Virginia.
