Marshall University Foundation Annual Report Designed by Access Wins Gold CASE Award
Access Advertising & Public Relations’ design of the Marshall University Foundation’s annual report landed a Council for the Advancement and Support of Education Gold Award. The Roanoke based advertising firm will be presented with the award at the District’s annual conference Jan. 22-24 in New York City.

Roanoke, Va. (January 5, 2012)—Designed by Access Advertising & Public Relations, the Marshall University Foundation’s 2009-2010 annual report, titled “Words to Live By,” has been recognized with a Gold Award in the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District II 2012 Accolades Awards program.
The award will be presented during the District’s annual conference in New York City, January 22-24, 2012.
“The opportunity to work with the Foundation on its annual report is always a pleasure and something in which we take great pride,” said Todd Marcum, President of Access Advertising & Public Relations and a Marshall alumnus. “Each year we meet new people who tell us how their experiences at Marshall shaped their lives. We are very pleased that this report was judged to be an excellent retelling of the Marshall story.”
The Accolades Awards program includes 40 different categories, including alumni relations, communications, design, development, grant writing, magazines, marketing, news writing, photography, portals, publications and web.
The largest of the eight CASE districts, District II helps members build stronger relationships with their alumni and donors, raise funds for campus projects, produce recruitment materials, market their institutions to prospective students, diversify the profession, and foster public support of education.
