Virginia Business names 2012 Best Places to Work
Several area businesses were named on the 2012 list of the Best Places to Work by Virginia Business.
Businesses must meet criteria in order to be considered for the annual list. Eligible business must: be a for-profit or non-profit business or government entity; be a publicly or privately held business; have a location in Virginia; have at least 15 Virginia employees; and must have been in business for at least a year.
Businesses that meet these criteria are then given an employer benefits and policies questionnaire, and an employee engagement and satisfaction survey. The combined results of these surveys determine a business’ rank in the list.
