Access Advertising & Public Relations receives 2 2012 Communicator Awards
A local advertising firm received two awards from the International Academy of Visual Arts. Access Advertising & Public Relations was recognized for work done on Carpet Factory Outlet and LewisGale Regional Health System television ads.

Roanoke, Va. (May 3, 2012)—Access Advertising & Public Relations has been awarded two 2012 Communicator Awards by the International Academy of Visual Arts for television spots produced on behalf of clients Carpet Factory Outlet and LewisGale Regional Health System.
Access received awards for the following spots:
• Award of Excellence (Gold) – Carpet Factory Outlet “Love Your Carpet.” Category: Retail Store
• Award of Distinction (Silver) – LewisGale Regional Health System “Sunrise in Southwest Virginia.” Category: Hospital (over 200 beds)
“While we strive for results in our client work, it’s rewarding to be recognized by our peers for creative excellence,” says Todd Marcum, president of Access. “International competitions like these help us to compare the work we do here in Roanoke to a broader audience.”
Access worked with production companies Abandon Films (Love Your Carpet) and Motion Adrenaline (Sunrise in Southwest Virginia) to produce the television spots.
The 18th Annual Communicator Awards were judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 550+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
