Tuck Chiropractic wins award for structural ingenuity in The Can Do! at The Fork and Cork Festival

Tuck Chiropractic Clinic employees collected over 700 cans of food then used the cans to recreate the Tuck logo. This is how the clinic won the award for Structural Ingenuity at The Can Do! food drive held in conjunction with Blacksburg’s Fork and Cork Festival. Can Do! benefits needy  food pantries.

Here is the press release from Tuck Chiropractic Clinic.

BLACKSBURG, VIRGINIA (May 2, 2012) – Doctors and Staff Members from Tuck Chiropractic Clinic participated in The Can Do! on Saturday, April 28, 2012.  Tuck Clinic staff members collected over 700 cans of food and built a recreation of the Tuck Chiropractic logo.  The Tuck Chiropractic Team won the award for Structural Ingenuity.

“We would like to thank all of our patients and the grocery stores across the New River Valley who generously donated food to our cause.  We are grateful for these food donations that went to several local food banks after the building competition,” stated Dr. Matthew Marry of Tuck Chiropractic Spinal Sports Injury Clinic in Christiansburg.

The Can Do! event is held in conjunction with the Fork and Cork Festival in Blacksburg.  Local teams are encouraged to design and build structures using canned and boxed food items.  This is an annual event that greatly benefits food pantries in need of supplies.
