National College’s Roanoke Valley campus to hold career fair
A career fair will be hosted by National College in Salem on Wednesday. Many area companies will be on campus to talk to interested job seekers. Attendees should come prepared with resumes. This is a free public event.

SALEM, VA – The Roanoke Valley Campus of National College (www.national-college.edu; 540-986-1800), located at 1813 East Main Street in Salem, will host a Career Fair on Wednesday, June 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Participating employers will include: Aerotek, Advance Auto, American General Life, Army National Guard, AXA AdvisorsBright Services, Business Data Systems, Carilion Clinic, CCS-Inc., Chase Professionals, City of Roanoke, Dish, Doctors Express, Express Staffing, First Citizens Bank, Employer Support of the Guard, Healthcare Services Group, The Homestead, Kissito Healthcare, Legal Shield, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Medical Facilities of America, The Music Place 101.5 FM, New Horizons Healthcare, Pebble Creek, Professional Networks, ResCare Home Care, SleepEZ, TPG Staffing, Transamerica, VEC/Workforce, Western Virginia Regional Jail, and Wells Fargo. There will also be representatives on hand to provide information regarding the new federal Veterans Retraining Assistance Program (VRAP).
Come meet representatives from these great companies and many more. Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and come dressed for success.

Lifetime career counseling and placement assistance is provided to all National College students and graduates. The Roanoke Valley Campus has been serving Southwest Virginia since 1886. The campus offers a master of business administration degree, as well as diploma, associate degree, and bachelor’s degree programs in business, computers, and health care.
National College operates a total of 30 campuses in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana, serving more than 10,000 students annually.
