VelocityCare by Carilion Clinic will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow at their Westlake location. An open house will be hosted Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon and feature tours, refreshments and giveaways.

Media invited to attend ribbon cutting event

WHAT:
Carilion Clinic would like to invite the media to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Westlake VelocityCare location on Friday, June 15. Refreshments, tours and giveaways will be provided. Representatives from Carilion Clinic will be available for interviews.

VelocityCare is bridging the gap between primary care and the emergency room. Open seven days a week with extended hours, VelocityCare will begin services at the Westlake location on June 16 immediately following an open house for the public. The open house will take place from 9 a.m. – noon and tours, free blood pressure checks, children’s activities, giveaways and refreshments will be provided.
