Scottrade Inc. is relocating its Roanoke office to the Shoppes at West Village on Electric Road. The move will take place June 22.

ROANOKE, June 15, 2012 – Investing services company Scottrade, Inc. is relocating its Roanoke, Va., Branch Office June 22 to the Shoppes at West Village. This Branch Office will continue to provide investment education to self-directed investors and traders as it has since 2009, under the management of Jim Furlong.

Furlong joined Scottrade in 2006 and has managed the Roanoke Branch Office since its opening. He maintains Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses.

“Our new office is central to the Roanoke community and will make it more convenient for clients who live throughout the city, and beyond, to come into the office,” Furlong said. “Whether they want to drop off a deposit, sign up for an upcoming seminar or have a one-on-one tutorial with a stock broker, we will be there ready to help.”

Scottrade operates 15 branch offices throughout Virginia, including the Roanoke office. Clients can visit one of Scottrade’s 505 branch offices across the nation where stock brokers are available to answer account-related questions, provide in-person and over-the-phone customer service, and discuss its investment products.
