Firefli Media will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at its offices in Grandin Village. As part of the celebration, attendees will be asked to nominate a non profit organization to be entered into a drawing for free complimentary digital consulting through Firefli Media.

ROANOKE, Virginia (October 9, 2012) – Firefli Media, Roanoke’s first digital agency, will hold its official Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, Oct. 11, from 4-7 p.m. The event will take place at the agency’s offices, located in the heart of the historic Grandin Village, at 1327 Grandin Rd.

Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will be in attendance, as will other prominent community leaders. An official ribbon cutting will take place at approximately 4 p.m.

Though Firefli Media moved into the offices, formerly home to Valley Bank, in July, the event is intended to introduce Roanoke’s first premier digital agency and its unique services to the region. In fact, the celebration aims to promote the community, as the agency has partnered with numerous local restaurants in the Grandin Village to provide food for guests.

To further demonstrate its support of community growth and outreach, Firefli Media will also use the event to create working relationships with three local non-profit organizations. Guests will be asked to nominate a non-profit of their choice, and the agency’s staff will draw a random nominee each hour of the event. Each non-profit “winner” will receive complimentary digital consulting courtesy of Firefli Media.
