Spilman Thomas & Battle earns national recognition

Spilman Thomas & Battle, a Charleston, W.Va.-based law firm with an office in Roanoke, was ranked as a best law firm in the annual list compiled by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers.

The firm announced today that it was recognized on the national level in the area of bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law.

The firm’s Roanoke office also was ranked at the metropolitan level in the following practice areas: banking and finance law, bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law, biotechnology law, commercial litigation, corporate law, employee benefits law, employment law – management, financial services regulation law, labor law – management, public finance law, and trusts and estates law.
