AT&T has added a new cell site in Troutville that will increase availability of its mobile Internet network. The upgrade means that it will be easier for customers with smartphones and other devices to connect to their mobile network.

TROUTVILLE, VA, January 8, 2013 — AT&T* today announced the increased availability of its mobile Internet network in Troutville, enhancing coverage to the residential areas and recreational facilities along Roanoke Road.

“Demand for wireless speed is growing rapidly, and these network enhancements in Botetourt County are just the latest examples of AT&T’s significant infrastructure investment,” said J. Michael Schweder, president of AT&T Mid-Atlantic.
