United Way donations up by $100,000 this year

During a campaign celebration luncheon Thursday at The Hotel Roanoke, the United Way of Roanoke Valley announced that its 2012 campaign is projected to raise $6,250,120.This total is up $100,000 from the amount raised for the 2011 campaign at the same time last year.

Donors, volunteers, board members and others were invited to the luncheon, honoring those who serve the United Way of Roanoke Valley.
