University Physical Therapy has opened a second location on Apperson Drive in Salem.

Owner of  the Salem and Roanoke University Physical Therapy locations and physical therapist Tyler Bowersock held a grand opening for the second office  Wednesday.

Bowersock has been in practice for almost 7 years. He was employed by Carilion Clinic before opening his own practice in Roanoke.

Local physicians supported and urged the opening of a second location, Bowersock said in an email.

Director Amy Foutz and office manager Stephanie Hodges will be joining Bowersock in the Salem office.

University Physical Therapy will begin seeing patients today.
