Cold Winter Morning

I covered a skiing story with writer Mark Taylor this week and shot this picture of our condo window just after waking up on Wednesday. It was 12 degrees with 40mph winds at 7a.m. The weather really made me feel like I was back out west. Beech Mountain Resort ski area is America’s highest ski area east of the Rocky Mountains at 5,506 feet. Go to Roanoke.com Friday for Mark’s ski story.
