Thanks to all and especially, Tad, for sharing my song and my work with your audience. It's more than I could have ever expected. I hope everyone knows that I wrote "Blacksburg" completely out of the deepest sympathy and respect for the victims at Virginia Tech and their family. Basically, I'm just trying to make sense of it, but of course, I'm not finding any. The music is at least a small comfort. I'm a faculty member at a large university myself, and I go to work with an awareness that this could happen anywhere at any time. My heart goes out to everyone at Blacksburg.
