It was fun to get to recite my old Poe poem, and to show off a kind of writing I do that's different from what I do for the Times. (Dwayne Yancey saw me perform this at No Shame Theater, which is how I got shanghaied...)
I've razzed Seth about the non-scary background he picked for my piece. With Poe, you just need dark and shadowy and Gothic. After all, the man wrote about people being buried alive....

I work with a man named Willie Via. On Thursday Jan 19 Timecast I went to the link about Stephanie Via's Granny who cut off the cat's tail. There was a picture of an old house. The house looks like Willie's birthplace (which is still standing in his back pasture) I wanted to show it to him today - but when I went to the timescast video feed there is no link to that story. Can you provide me with a link so I can show him the picture of the house and he can hear the story - probably about one of his relatives. Thanks.

On the other hand, Mike, Poe was a lover of spirits (I'm not talking about the ghostly kind) and it kind of looks like you're standing in a wine cellar on the 'cast. Hey, grab me a '98 pinot noir while you're down there.
