We wound up with 6″, about 3mi south of Willis. I saw on the NWS list that someone reported 10.1 for Willis. Definitely not that much here.

Here in mostly snowless Goodview (we did have a brief bit of snow around 8:30 that put a dusting on our slush) it’s 32.8, but 5 miles north in Jordantown it’s now a whopping 36….that warm spot just won’t move.

Mr. Winter,
I am 12 minutes to the west of Rocky Mount headed toward Callaway and there isn’t even enough snow to go over my shoes. It may be a case of snow bands setting up in different areas, but there isn’t even enough snow here to sleigh ride in, despite the six inches you have nearby.

And Kevin you were soooo right about this type storm just dying…no sooner do I post about snow continuing,than it just STOPS!! 10″ here east of Galax,some power outages around the area. Going to be lots of tree damage from this one,I bet. Great job today, Kevin,it has been fun following the blog today.
