Since I can’t get to every question in the paper, I’m going to start posting those that remain uninvestigated here. If you’ve got answered, feel free to comment!
From Marian Hawkins: Have you looked at your electric bill lately? With everything they have: electricity supply, generation services, transmission services, distribution services? Va. Electrical tax, local tax, I keep looking back. It’s a monopoly, so all this comes from Apco, so what’s up?
From Ben Patton: I was wondering what the building on Gainsboro road on the right between our lady of the valley and the church it’s called Claytor Memorial Clinic. Kind of overgrown and I was wondering what ties it has to historic Gainsboro?
From Peggy Reynolds: Can you tell me the date of death for Charley Rich and Conway Twitty? What were there real names and where are they buried, and also Ronnie Milsap. Is he living and what’s going on with him? They were some of the best!
From Carole Hawkins: Is there anyplace in Roanoke that will recycle little plastic pill bottles that we get our medicine in? My sister’s church in another state cleans and recycles them and sends them to a medical mission. I’d like to recycle but I don’t know where.
From Paul Gensurowsky: I was wondering how many noise ordinance tickets the Roanoke City and Roanoke County Police have issued since the first of this year?
How many where for loud music and how many where for loud motorcycle mufflers? Do they selectively issue tickets? Why?
I am sure I will have the Hells Angles circling my house if published…. I’m working on this one, Paul!
