Drew Hayden with a big pond bass

Drew Hayden was using a plastic worm during a late-June fishing trip to a Bedford County pond when this bass hit. Look at the size of the head on this thing! The bass was 21 1/2 inches long and weighed 4.5 pounds.

Drew is 14 and lives in Vinton.
