Deer stand dispatch: Quiet so far

After three hours in my first spot I could bear the lack of action and moved. There’s more wind here but it’s not terrible. I am in a ground blind, sitting in a rickety camp chair that is certain to collapse the second a shooter buck shows up. No deer down at camp today so far.

Funny you should mention the rickety chair. I took a small 4 pointer last Friday and after taking the shot and hearing the deer fall about 40 yards away,I plopped down in the chair again to review the shot I had just taken. Thats when the bottom fell out of the chair. Fortunately it was after the shot. Boobie trapped by my companions I think. LOL!
