Brandon Steele checks in with a mountain bruiser

When he was playing football at Penn State, Brandon Steele laid some licks on opponents. On Black Friday he went head-to-head with another tough guy. Here’s Brandon’s report of the hunt:

“Pretty quick story. He chased a group of does off the top of the mountain but would not leave the laurels. After what seemed like an eternity he walked out the mountain toward me, the rest is history. I did nothing special but was in the right place at the right time. I had no idea he was this large until I walked up to him.

He weighed 170 pounds  field dressed, has an inside spread of 17 and 3/4 inches. He is a main frame 8 pt but has two more scoreable stickers off his bases. His one G2 is over 12 inches long. He must have been fighting a bunch because a couple of his points are broken off and he has small injuries all over his face. Leaves me with hope for the future!”

C0ngrats on a great buck, Brandon! Being in the right place at the right time is what it’s all about!
