Dylan Hatfield with his cool piebald buck

Nine-year-old Dylan Hatfield killed this piebald spike on November 6 while hunting with his proud dad, Fred Hatfield, in Roanoke County. Dylan, who started squirrel hunting at 6 and killed his first deer (a doe) on youth day this season, was shooting a T/C Impact.

Fred says the plan is to tan the unique hide and mount the antlers on a plaque. Sounds like a great way to celebrate an exciting first buck!
