Little Gary Justus keeps getting it done

Gary Justus is one lucky kid. And not because he has put the drop on some great bucks (among other things!) over the years. He’s lucky because his grandma, Donna, is willing to spend some much time with him afield. Here’s Donna’s note:

“Gary is 8 now and still hunting every chance he gets and I continue to be his guide. We’re having a blast. We got a coyote Tuesday evening and Gary scored a nice 8 point Wednesday evening. He held steady, when the buck dropped he turned and said “Big buck down” I guess I was more excited than him.”

I can just see this kid saying that. He’s a calm veteran at 8! Congrats Gary and Donna!

No offense to anyone who posts their hero shots here, but the ones of this fella are by far the best each year. Congrats Gary & Mrs. Justus!

Gary is one awesome kid, and has the most wonderful grandparents, they have dedicated their life to him.. He has been hunting all his life and is a great hunter. He puts a lot of adults to shame. He is also a great student, and enjoys restoring old cars with his grandfather..One terrific kid !!!

Thanks guys & gals!! Gary & I love to spend time hunting together, I took him with me when he was a baby and bow hunted out of a pop up blind, now that was challenging. :) We get a lot of enjoyment out of seeing the coons, squirrels, birds, etc we see while hunting and of course just spending time together is special.
To CIA, the picture is not fake, I took it myself. I’m sorry I can’t see what you think is fake about it. We took it the next day after the hunt, the deer is stiff, he’s been hanging about 20 hours, and has been field dressed. My brother gladly took the meat to feed his family.
Thanks again and good luck on the rest of the hunting season!
