Hunted some in Patrick Co. near Meadows of Dan and the hemorhagic (sp?) disease has riddled the herd in my area…..no deer…very sad. Anyway, I am not gonna complain about this yr….i’m very happy with my Bedford Co. buck….for those who want to know, that is a very flattering pic of the deer….He was really nice but no Boone and Crockett by any means….beams were a little short and he didn’t have a ton of mass….regardless, 5 yr buck, 180lbs live weight,gross boone and crockett score of 157″…..needless to say I am pumped….good luck everyone
