Steve Stone makes his annual hero shot appearance

I have hunted hard everyday since Saturday averaging over 6 miles of walking a day and lots of 3:30 AM wake up calls. I past up a couple of nice 15-16” eights points along the way. I just couldn’t walk any more this morning so I went to one of my farm spots in Floyd and took this nice buck. He is 19” inside with 11” G2’s on one side and 9” on the other. So times it just pays to be in the woods somewhere. I would have been so easy to have listened to that windy forecast on slept in. The sheep hunt feels like it was a really long time ago now for some reason.

I was wondering if anyone would pick up on the Kuiu gear. It’s really great stuff in moderate temperatures or while walking in cold weather.
