Alex Haley’s first turkey is a dandy
Nine-year-old Alex Haley, wh0 was with his dad Mark when Mark killed a nice buck on Dec. 15, also had some success this late season. Alex was hunting on private land in Floyd County when he dropped the hammer on this nice gobbler, which his dad reported weighed in at a hefty 25 pounds.
It looks like Alex also killed a big fox squirrel during the same hunt. Congrats, Alex! That’s a pretty impressive double!

Way to go Alex! Nice bird!
Good gosh! 25 pounds? Are you sure that’s not a moose?!?
Excellent shooting, Alex. It sounds like before too long you will be bringing in a lot bigger trophies than your Dad! Good for you, young man! Keep up the FANTASTIC work!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words? I’ll tell you what, the ear-to-ear smile on young Master Alex’s face is worth a million dollars! Folks, I think we’ve got ourselves a proud and deserving Sportsman for the next seventy or eighty years!
Nice double! That smile says it all.
Way to go Alex!!! That is one BIG Turkey!!! Congratulations!
