In my column in the Sept. 6 Roanoke Times, I wrote about a few of the items that have become my favorite hunting accessories.
These items, including an aftermarket treestand safety harness such as the one pictured here, aren’t required hunting gear. (A harness is required, but we get them with all the stands we buy. I’m talking about a GOOD, COMFORTABLE, EASY-TO-GET-INTO harness.)
It’s a short column so the list is pretty short. There are a few other things (such as a set of shooting sticks) I could have included, had I had more space.
What I’d like hear from you all, after you read the column, is what pieces of gear you have found indispensable when you head out for a hunt.
