“Instead of taking my new Parker bow out in the woods Saturday, I decided to take my youngest son William out trout fishing. I caught wind that Game and Inland Fisheries stocked the Pig River at Waid Park with about 800 trout. It was a very slow day that was crowded by lots of other fishermen but, we still managed to catch a few. I think William had more fun wading in the river and the mud than he did fishing at least until he caught his first trout. Despite the rain, mud, and other fishermen, the smile on William’s face made all of the negatives go away.”
Thanks for sharing, Dave, and congrats to William! Sounds like a great father-and-son day. You’ll get your chance with the new Parker!
