A shot of the Hole in the Ear buck

Everybody's heard about the Hole in the Horn buck, a massive non-typical trophy found dead in Ohio in 1940.
Well, here's a shot of the Hole in the Ear buck, which is still running around out there after apparently having a near miss with a hunter last season.

Static LinesGive this a Try for ticks and other blood sucking insects...
Take the clothes that you are going out in the woods scout in the day before place them in a plastic bag and spray a very liberal amount insect repellent such as "OFF" or what ever you prefer on your clothing and let them sit over night and follow your normal procedure for entering the woods this works really well.
You will find the scent rather strong and so will the bugs, yet be aware heavy morning dew will weaken the treatment so respraying may be needed.
This will not keep the tax man from draining you dry of your hard earned money, so do what every other citizen will do this November be heard and
